Sylvan Hills Vineyard is located on Bennett Valley Road, with a southern exposure, adjoining the Matanzas Creek Winery property. The cool evenings and foggy mornings allow a long hang time, resulting in the development of complex bouquets of citrus and Muscat flavors in our chardonnay favored by many wineries. This is truly a special piece of land, which has produced fine grapes continuously for over a century and a half with some of the mission vines allegedly planted by General Vallejo producing to this day.
