Jemrose is a 19-acre vineyard planted primarily on steeply sloped well-drained rocky loam soil with southern sun exposures. Three varietals are grown which are well suited to the valley’s cool climate: Merlot #3 and #6 (10 acres), Pinot Noir #777 and #115(4.5 acres) and Syrah (5 acres). Our goal is to grow grapes at low yields that will produce world-class wines reflecting the unique qualities of the Bennett Valley AVA.
