Bennett Valley wines are being recognized across the wine community. Industry and consumer tastings, wine competitions, wine blogs and the traditional wine press - all are contributing to the growing opinion that this is an appellation on the rise.
Harvest Fair Gold - Congratulations to member producers Alta Ridge Vineyards - 25 Brix and Bennett Valley Cellars. Both were awarded Gold Medals for their wines at the 2010 Sonoma County Harvest Fair!
Congratulations to Russell Bevan of Westerhold Family Vineyards for taking home the coveted “Coat du Rhône” at the Syrah Shoot Out at this year’s Hospice du Rhone event in Paso Robles, California! Winemakers came together to blind-taste and rate Syrahs made by their peers. The winning wine was the 2007 Westerhold Family Vineyards Syrah from the Bennett Valley .
